First Erasmus Mundus Students Graduate

The foreign students from the Republic of Honduras and the Republic of El Salvador majoring in Information and communications technology in maritime industry have successfully passed their in voce examinations and defended their graduation papers on 16 March 2017. They will be granted master’s degrees and will qualify as information and communications systems engineers. The course for those students started in 2015. They had the opportunity to study under the Erasmus Mundus programme. This programme supports high quality master-level study programmes and offers the chance for postgraduate study at European universities, encouraging mobility of students and scholars from Europe, enabling them to be trained in third countries.

Currently at the Naval Academy, there is also a student from Colombia studying under this programme.
