NVNA cadet successfully graduates US Naval Academy

26 May 2017: the graduation and commissioning ceremony of the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It was a great honour that cadet Todor Stoykov Stoev, who had been detached in 2013 to study at the Academy, successfully graduated, with distinction, from his programme. The class of 2017 US Naval Academy graduates is 1065 strong, with 17 representatives of 16 foreign countries.

The graduates were handed their diplomas by Mr Michael Pence himself, Vice President of the United States. The special guests from Bulgarian side included: the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in USA – MrTihomir Stoychev, and the military attaché of the Republic of Bulgaria in USA –Brigadier Anatoli Krastev. Form Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy, the ceremony was also attended by Captain Svetoslav Dimitranov, Deputy for Administration and Logistics. Todor Stoev will continue his career as a naval officer in the republic of Bulgaria.
