On successful graduation from the Academy students can be employed as Officer in Charge of the Engineering Watch in manned Engine room or as Officer in Charge of the Engineering Watch in unmanned Engine room onboard merchant vessels with no limitation of the power of the ship plant, Second Engineer on coastal ships with a power plant of over 3,000 kW, Chief Engineers on ships with power plant of up to 3,000 kW as well as occupy different management positions in the sector of maritime transport and industry
