Use of Radar and ARPA to Ensure Safe Navigation

The course is intended for theoretical and practical training, knowledge and proficiency of applicants for the capacity of a “Watchkeeping officer”, working on board vessels equipped with RADAR and ARPA, so that a safe navigation is maintained and a prevention of collision is ensured.
Requirements to participants:
The trainees should meet at least the following requirements:
– maritime college education in „Navigation”/ore have passed the theoretical part of “Radio navigational recourses” or
– to have passed the preliminary courses required in art. 36, item 4, l. „а“, item 8, l. „а“ and art.39, i.4, l. „а“ of Ordinance №6.
Persons, who do not apply for the capacity of “Watchkeeping officer”, should have a high school degree.
