This course provides training to candidates to be duly qualified with specific duties and responsibilities related to ships operating in polar waters. It comprises a training programme appropriate to their duties and responsibilities, including knowledge of ice, safety measures, pollution prevention, operational practice and obligations under applicable law and regulations, respectively.
