Welcome to the website of the Department of Electronics of the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy Varna.
Department of Electronics was founded in 2000 and is the successor of the departments of Radar Technology and Maritime communication.
The department specializes in the training of specialists to work with marine and terrestrial communications, radar, radio navigational aids and communication and information systems for automation.
The department provides specialist training courses “Artificial Intelligence and Smart Technologies”, “Digital transformation”, “Information and communication technologies” / together with the IT Department /, “Naval radar systems for the Navy” and individual disciplines in “Navigation”, “Onbord electrical equipment”, “Management of water transport”, “Fleet and ports operation” and “Shipping”.
The department provides training in Bulgarian and English.
