16 experts from Bulgaria, Lithuania, Poland, the USA and Ukraine held a  seminar on cyber security at Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy. The instructor of the  training was commander Phil Starkovic of the United States Naval Academy in  Annapolis. The goal was to prepare a cybersecurity program for students at the Naval  Institute at the Odessa Maritime Academy. The training is part  of the Defense Education Enhancement Program (DEEP) NATO DEEP – Ukraine  program, designed to identify the needs and gaps of educational institutions in  certain NATO partner countries. This months` newsletter invites you to our final conference! he European Conference on Communicative Approach is being hosted by the PraC-MARENG partnership. The partnership is involved in a EU funded project entitled PraC-MARENG (www.prac-mareng.com) will present a platform for the training of seafarers in MARITIME ENGLISH across Europe by enabling practical and communicative approach with the ultimate aim of improving the level of safety at sea worldwide. The conference is an opportunity to find partners for PraC-MARNEG project and associated EU projects and proposals.
