Specialized Training of Marine Engineer Officers

  • Course requirements: The training program is designed and established in relation to the requirement of a particular shipping company and according to IMO model course 7.02, 7.04 and the Quality Management System of the Naval Academy.

  • For who: Students in the course shall be eligible seafarers with the necessary basic qualification.

  • Number of trainees: 6-12

  • Price per 1 participant: In Bulgarian – 440 BGN per trainee

The course provides for the acquisition of new knowledge and skills and updating of the existing bachelor’s degree and Secondary mechanic with the Bachelor’s degree in the following fields:

  1. Marine engineering.
  2. Operation of electrical and electronic systems and control and command mechanisms.
  3. Maintenance and repair.
  4. Operation of the ship and care of the persons on board.

Students in the course shall be eligible seafarers with the necessary basic qualification.
