On 24 October 2016, there was a concert dance at the Palace of Sports and Culture, Varna. The dance was the concluding stage of a project for training young people in the art of dancing which had been going on for two months. The project was realised by Cristal Dance Club with the partnership of Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy and Zlatni pyasatsi Nature Park and was fully funded by Varna Municipality. It was conducted in support of Varna – European Youth Capital 2017.

The grand concert was performed by young people trained under the project, Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy military cadets and civilian students, the Naval Academy dance troupe of Vaptsatovtsi, and Cristal Dance Club, among others.
