On 9 August 2016, the captain of the Greek training ship HS Prometheus – Commander Konstantinos Syropoulos and officers of the ship’s wardroom visited Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy. The guests were met by Commodore Prof. DSc Boyan Mednikarov – Rector of the Naval Academy. During their visit the Greek officers discussed the specificity of the training of personnel for the navies of Bulgaria and Greece. Some Greek trainees and officers will be introduced to the capabilities offered by the training aids and simulators at the Naval Academy on 10 August 2016.
