Logistics is the optimal organization of the processes and management of resources, energy, and people. This is a prestigious and dynamic field, the experts in which are in high and so far unsatisfied demand. The Baccalaureate program aims to prepare the future specialists in logistics through teaching them skills for effective management of physical goods and resources, as well as the related flow or things between the point of origin to the point of consumption.

Students who successfully graduate in this major can find professional realization in all fields as experts and administrative staff in organizations dealing with manufacturing, trade, transport, etc. They can also occupy positions in the field of transportation, supply, manufacturing, distribution, and operation of manufacturing companies, as well as the organizations outside material production.

The curriculum focuses on Economics and Management, Language Competencies and Skills in the Logistics-Specific Fields. Among the major-specific disciplines are Quantitative Methods in Logistics; Regulations for the Storage and Transportation of Goods; Management of Resource; Quality Assurance; Transport Logistics and Multimodal Transport; Management of the Supply Chain; Port and Storage Logistics; International Logistics. The education is completed upon passing an exam in the major. The elective and free-elective disciplines comprise more than 40% of the curriculum and are chosen from a wide range of courses.

Upon graduation, the students obtain a Bachelor of Science degree and have the skills of managerial specialists. The interdisciplinary nature of the education is a great foundation for further education in the Master’s programs in the field of Management, Economics, and Transport.
