The graduates are qualified to work as ship electricians on merchant ships of the corresponding class, as well as other managerial positions within the sphere of maritime transportation and industry. Graduates hold office “watchkeeping engineer in the engine compartment service” or “mechanic on duty in the engine room with unmanned engine-room” of civilian ships with unlimited power of propelling power installations, second engineer on a ship with propulsion power to 3000 kW, chief mechanic of a ship with propulsion power to 3000 kW and chief engineer of a ship with capacity up to 3000 kW inland waterways. Graduates can be employed in various management positions in the sphere of maritime transport and in industry.
